At El Candado, our approach is rooted in respect for the existing home. The architecture provided an excellent foundation, so we focused on creating a new atmosphere through the use of materials, furniture, and a carefully curated selection of one-of-a-kind pieces.

Living Room – Kitchen

The double-height space—the large central void—is the element that organizes the entire home. Rather than simply creating a sense of grandeur, the double-height space is designed to bring in light, air, and perspective. The eye is naturally drawn upward to the large upper window, where the landscape continues to rise above the roof.

The Flexform modular sofa, with its generous proportions and extremely clean lines. These pieces eschew flashy design elements in favor of comfort.

The transition between the living room and the dining room is completely seamless.

The table, crafted from solid oak, features a simple design that lets the material take center stage. Its generous proportions allow the wood to fully express its richness through its grain, texture, and thickness.

Fredericia chairs combine a natural wood frame with seats woven from handcrafted rope.
